Diversity: The current gender dynamic in fintech… 🤝 👥
New research: New findexable research coming! 🔬 📔
Events to have in your diaries. 🎊 📅
It’s almost here. We can't believe the Fintech Diversity Radar is launching in two weeks time!
Tireless research, data collection and analysis, and interviewing will show just how imbalanced the world of fintech really is. It’s time for change. Our data has found that women in fintech are three times more likely to be a CMO than a CEO. Though one in four firms have a woman as head of HR, women are seven times more likely to fill this role rather than CTO. It is time (for all of us) to step in and take action on rethinking and redesigning the roles of women in fintech - or be destined to repeat the mistakes of the past. Future-fit finance is more than about meeting quotas. How can we eliminate economic exclusion if the companies empowered to do so are run by an exclusive (mainly white, nearly always male) club?
The Fintech Diversity Radar is the first stop on the road of our data-driven journey to build future-fit finance and accelerate change. In the coming weeks we’ll be previewing and analysing the data - using it to build a global alliance that can address the inequities at the top of financial innovation - as well as create a market that looks and feels like the societies it ought to serve.
